the 7am project

I hardly ever start my day right.

I like to sleep in.
I wake up to feed Lucy but we often spend the whole morning in a magical land of dreams and milk.

Sounds beautiful?
It isn't.

Quite often it's midday before I've had breakfast which is now lunch, I'm running late for something and nothing has been done. Oh, and i'm still in my pj's.

Don't get me wrong. I love doing this on a lazy Saturday every once in a while, but most days in the week? I need to change.

So I'm callling it the 7am project. I'm going to not just wake up but get up at 7 every day and start my day. To help, and make it creative. I'm going to take a 7am photo each day and post them weekly. I may even try make it linkable one day so you can join in on the fun.

Here's my first photo taken this morning at 7am.

 Yep, the sun is up at 7am. I was surprised too.

what i wore wednesday

 I need to admit something...
sometimes I don't get out of my pjs for a while.

My little one wakes up round six or seven has a feed/change/feed and then if we don't have somewhere to be we go back to sleep. Sometimes we don't wake up till nine or ten. Then it's time for another feed/change/feed and a cuddle and a chat and a bit of blog reading, laundry, breakfast and oh! it's 1:30 pm and I'm still in my jammies.

So, in order to get me to get out of those perjims and into something lovely. I'm going to post what I wore each Wednesday. I miss getting all dressed up for my weekly pregnancy photos and now it is getting colder I can experiment with all my hats and scarves and warm things.

Now I know its Saturday today but I'm not great at taking selphys and didn't ask Myl to take my photo till yesterday/ So here is my first what I wore Wednesday taken on Friday, posted on Saturday.

So I was googling my blog today (as you do) and I stumbled upon this song called "Little One"

The first words are "little one i know you grow..."

Amazing! I thought. And I really like the song.

buttons

When I was little I owned a little cardigan called buttons.
It was my special friend.
When I was lonely at night i would suck my thumb and hold buttons.
It had these little buttons on it that I would rub on my upper lip.
It would calm me down.

Well...

I now have a new button.

The longest weekend

Wow I have not blogged since Tuesday.

Isn't it funny how time slips away when you are busy.
I have honestly not stopped doing something since Wednesday morning.
(Except this afternoon when I collapsed on the bed and slept from 2-6)
